Everyone,

Wondering if the Reefkeeper MLC and pods (6 pods = 12 leds) would work as a small fuge light?  I got an MLC and lights used with my RKE and would like to put them to good use.  They come in white and red, anyone think they are significant enough to grow chaeto?

I don't think much is needed to grow chaeto.  I used to have a cfl flood bulb down there now I have an led one.  Daylight, like 90w equivalent.  Chaeto grows like mad

Yea, I was hoping it would, but I can just tell after hooking it all up at night that they will not be enough.  I'd have to expand the module to house at least twice as many LEDs to actually have it bright enough to produce any effect.
